Here's my tribute to the magazines which made my life and lifestyle possible and the editors who sent me out adventuring often with only my vaguest reassurance that I'd come back with the goods.

Editors are writer's best friends and allies. They often generate ideas, take financial risks sending the writer out to roam, fix errors and omissions, point out bad and indulgent writing, often cop the flak when things on location turn not to their best.
